OUR LOVE FOR FRAGRANCE
CCJ Parfum is an independent niche perfume brand based in Bangkok, Thailand, under Catimbang Company Limited. The name CCJ comes from founder Conrado Catimbang Jr's own initials. The brand draws its inspiration from years spent living in Thailand, a culturally rich yet progressive home base, and aims to craft fragrance unique to the region. Its debut collection, ABDNCE and LOVERS, reflects a sunrise-to-sunset story told through two fragrances.
My relationship with scent started in the tropics. I grew up in that heat, where the air is heavy and fragrance clings to skin longer, moves differently. That closeness to warmth and humidity stayed with me. It shapes how I think about a scent's longevity and how it should feel on skin that lives outdoors, not behind glass.
Travel gave me the rest. In Lisbon I noticed the smell of salt and old stone, mornings that felt scented before anything else happened. Paris showed me structure and precision, the discipline behind French perfumery. Milan and Florence taught me to look closely at materials, leather, wood, things made to age well instead of just to impress. Marrakesh was spice and dust held inside cool, quiet architecture, a different kind of intensity than I had felt before.
I brought all of it home to where I actually live. Thailand, where I have spent years, gave the brand its real grounding. Bangkok is a city that holds tradition and progress at once, and that same tension between the two shapes how I approach fragrance. Japanese minimalism gave me the discipline to edit. What you take away matters as much as what you keep.
CCJ Parfum comes from that mix, years lived in Thailand and everywhere I passed through along the way. Not a copy of any single place, but what stayed with me, filtered through a tropical sensibility and a minimal hand, and shaped into something meant to feel true to this region.

Inspired by art, architecture, amber skies, and the quiet rhythm of coastal living, the design draws from the raw beauty of natural elements, such as wood, stone, and unpolished gemstones. These materials, shaped by time and nature, became the guiding language of the vessel, grounding it in something honest, tactile, and enduring.
At its heart, both the design and the fragrance are made for people, for real lives and real moments. It is meant to be held, worn, and lived with, becoming part of the quiet rituals of everyday life. It exists to hold memory, to keep moments close, whether they are filled with joy or shaped by something more tender.
Rather than seeking ornament or excess, the intention is to create something honest. Something that feels natural in one’s space and on one’s skin, as if it has always been there, quietly present, carrying meaning over time.
